Assign a "keyword" that sounds similar to the Concept/Term. To memorise the Description, visually connect the "keyword" to the description. The more eccentric the visual connection is the easier it is to recall information.
A simple example is memoprising the term "radius". Note that a redius is the line from the centre point of the ciricle that extends to a point on the circle's circumference.
The word "radius" sounds like a "radish". To remember the definition of "radius", one might picture the bulb of a radish at the centre of a circle with the radish swinging like a pendulum.
